This margarita is inspired by the film Halloween, and the iconic heroine who defined a genre.

The Scream Queen

Ingredients:

2 oz tequila

.5 oz Cointreau

.5 oz lime juice

1 oz apple cider

.25 oz maple syrup

cinnamon sugar (rim)

apple wedge (garnish)

cinnamon stick (garnish)

Instructions:

1. In a cocktail shaker combine all ingredients. Add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds until chilled and well combined.

2. Rim your rocks glass in apple cider wetting the rim. Roll the rim into a cinnamon sugar mixture then fill glass with ice.

3. Strain drink into the class and garnish with an apple wedge and cinnamon stick.
